Yashasvi Bhupendra Kumar Jaiswal was born on 28 December 2001 in suriyavan, bhadohi, uttar pradesh as the fourth of six children born to Bhupendra kumar Jaiswal , owner of a small hardware store and kanchan Jaiswal , a housewife.
LIFE IN MUMBAI – DAILY STRUGGLE FOR SURVIVAL
He soon moved to Dadar, Mumbai when he was 10 years old in order to receive training in cricket at Azad Maidan. But soon trouble began when he had to relocated to Kalbadebvi neighbourhood, as Dadar was far away from Mumbai. He was given an accomodation in a dairy shop in return for low-grade work. Unfortunately he soon was ejected by the shopkeepers as he couldn’t provide much help at the shop in between his training. As he used to be tired after a long day at practise that when he came back he would sleep for hours. With no place of his own , he had to stay in a tent with the groundsmen at the Maidan . Where he would often sleep hungry and had to start selling pani puri and fruits to make ends meet.
TURNING POINT IN YASHASVI JAISWAL’S CAREER .
On December 2013 after living in a tent for almost 3years , he was spotted by Jwala Singh who ran a cricket academy in Santa Cruz. An immigrant from Uttar Pradesh himself , Jwala Singh saw his childhood in Jaiswal. He first spotted Jaiswal when he was facing division A-Bowlers. He soon became his legal guardian and his personal coach , he took him under his wings and provided him a place to stay in his own home.
Limca book of Records Yashasvi Jaiswal first came to limelight which he scored 319 not out and took 13/99 in a Giles Sheildmatch and allround record in school cricket which was recognised by Limca Book of records .Jaiswal was the highest run scorer and player of the tournament at the 2018 ACC Under 19 Asia cup which India won.In 2019 , he strucked 173 off 220 balls in a youth test match against South Africa under 19’s who were bowled out for 152 and 85 in an innings win.Later that year he scored 294 runs in 7 matches including 4 half centuries in U19 tri-series in England along with Bangladesh.
